A gentle and elegant nose of subtle berry fruits and red apple. Lovely smooth texture, juicy fruit at it’s core, a sweet-apple finish.
Acidity is balanced, palate is fruity and inviting.

Little frost damage in April followed by a warm and settled May led to a fantastic fruit set meaning the growing season started off well. A heatwave in Europe led to persistent wet weather across July and into early August. However, the Summer ended as it had started, with one of the warmest September on record. The late burst of sunshine helped the grapes reach terrific levels of ripeness come harvest, meaning high quality and quantity of fruit was achieved across both Artelium site.

A great wine on its own in the sunshine but also ideal with Asian cuisines, particularly coconut milk-based curries. The off-dry style quenches chilli heat and there are ample juicy flavours for balance. The polished texture from the black-skinned Pinot Meunier harmonises with creamier sauces.
