Introduction to Stonecarving - Tuesday 25th March
Tuesday 25th March, 14.30 - 17.30
Learn how to carve a stone sculpture at the historic Skelton Workshops, located on Artelium’s Estate. Led by artisan and Skelton’s course leader Graham Alborough, discover traditional carving and chiseling techniques to release the image you want to create from stone. The process is addictive and very rewarding.
All materials will be provided. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.
The workshop will be followed by a delicious supper and a glass of Artelium wine.
This workshop is part of the ‘Festival of Making’ week, which kicks off with a Spring Makers Market on the 22nd March followed by a week of creative workshops running from the 24th - 28th March.
