Will Nash, 'Century 10'

£100.00

Edition: 1/1

Size: 34 x 34 cm

This print is part of Will Nash’s series of 100 unique screen-prints created for his 2023 solo exhibition with Artelium Futures Past. Each print combines the same two stencils, overlaid in different colours and configurations, making each print entirely unique. This way of working developed from the screen-prints Will created for Artefact #4 & Artefact #5, Artelium’s small batch artisan wines released in 2023.

Nash, explores form and structure through geometry, utilising sequences of planes and angles to create artworks rooted in the observation of patterns in nature & physics. Here, multiple grids of simple triangles and curves are superimposed to create prismatic patterns; orderly sequences decay into chaos then combine to find new order. The same isosceles triangles are also the origin of The Chevron, the first major sculpture to be sited at the Artelium estate.
