Through a vineyard tour & wine tasting you’ll discover why the South Downs is one of the world’s most exciting new wine regions and sample our internationally acclaimed still and sparkling wines.
Don’t want a designated driver? Artelium is easy to get to by train, with Plumpton Train station only a 30-minute walk across the fields.

Artelium Wine Tastings
Whenever we are open, a member of the Artelium team will be on hand to host a tasting. Tastings are the perfect introduction to the Artelium project and our exceptional still and sparkling English wines.
We have different Tasting options available, from three wine discovery flights to more comprehensive five wine explorer sessions. Tastings can be enjoyed alongside plates of Sussex produce and nibbles from the kitchen.
Both tastings and tables for lunch are best booked in advance.

Throughout the year, our Sussex estate plays host to delightful happenings.
Enjoy long evenings on the Terrace with friends & family at Food Events, step into our Tasting Room for a creative workshop or discover exciting Sussex-based contemporary artists at one of our exhibitions.
During the festive period, we also host a popular Makers Christmas Market we bring together some of Sussex’s most talented artisans to share their wares.
Eat
Wine should be enjoyed in good company and with good food, whether that’s a selection of local Sussex cheese or a pre-booked feast shared at your table.
Our Kitchen is open Thursday-Sunday or other days by appointment.
We also run a regular series of food-focused evenings, be that Pizza Nights or Supper Clubs.

Over one and a half hours, discover the dynamic world of contemporary English Wine with one of our knowledgeable team.
In the first half of the tour, you’ll go into the vineyard and learn about the history of viticulture in England and how we are helping shape its future. Your host will take you for a wander among the vines, sharing the story of the growing cycle and stopping off at one of our art installations.
The second half is a wine tasting. You’ll try three of our exceptional wines, including both still and sparkling. During the tasting, the host will give you insight into the winemaking techniques and the Sussex grapes that make our wines unique.
